Period 0: AP Statistics

Hey Class

READ CAREFULLY

I am at a conference so please follow the directions to learn 6.2 on your own. Be very productive, mature and self-directed.

1) Click here to see the summary Powerpoint presentation
After you click, OPEN via Google Slides to view. Ask your friends for help.

You have dealt with transformations and combining variables in several courses so it should be easy to understand. However, difficult to execute unless you know the notation and concepts.

Pay very close attention to as to when values change and when they stay the same. In addition, keep a close eye out for the connections to Normal Distributions.

Overall, the math calculations should be easy but the concepts and notation will be your downfall.

2) Read section 6.2 via the on-line textbook.

3) Start the 6.2 problems and help one another.

Making great notes and flashcards can be very helpful. However, don't assume you will be allowed to use any of these resources for any future tests.

Finally, I have recently noticed an overall slip in work ethic, and a lack of an attention to detail. Moving forward, please note and comprehend, every detail in notation and concepts.
